Seeking honesty
What is it that we seek in honesty?
What kind of child is truly honest?
A child without pretense, without crookedness or habits
Is it not a desire for ease of nurturing on the side of the
nurturer?
Simple honesty
A child untouched by artificiality, in their natural state
Is it a plus not to be falsely loyal?
Innocent simplicity
A child sincere in their emotions, warm-hearted and without
deception
Do we seek warmth from children?
Integrity
A child with a true and honest heart
Is it easy to have straightforward and honest feelings without any
hidden agenda?
Obedience
A child who does not rebel and is in sync with society
Is it about not being cunning?
Gentleness
A child who is calm and gentle
Is it about not rebelling and obeying quietly?
Mildness
A kind and gentle child
Should we decorate them like dolls?
I want them to become honest children
It's the selfish opinion of adults, right?
Are we asking them to adapt to adult convenience?
Are we asking them to act as adults wish?
There are many adults who can't even be honest
Isn't becoming an adult about stripping away honesty?
As adults, being able to conform to society is both necessary and
deceitful
So I want them to remain pure at least while they are children
I may be raising children without fully understanding why I must
raise them to be honest
Children are smart, they read adults' facial expressions and
emotions and learn honesty as they grow into adults
They grow to be like adults because they learn honesty from adults.
