The Wonder of Kindness
Where did your kindness come from?
The mystery of being comforted by
the child in you
Where did your kindness come from?
The mystery of being forgiven by
the child in you
Where was your kindness nurtured?
The mystery of the child in you
being unadorned
Where will your kindness go?
The mystery of the child in you
embracing it
Encountering your kind gaze
Drawn to the child in you
Encountering your kind actions
The casualness of the child in you
is a mystery
Anger disappears in your kindness
The quiet smile of the child in
you is a mystery
Finding happiness in your kindness
The gentle warmth of the child in
you is a mystery
